Eye cream used by Holly Willoughby leaves shoppers 'looking more youthful'

Eyes can be one of the first places to show signs of ageing, and so eye creams and serums are a key part of a skincare routine.

Make-up artist Patsy O’Neill created a 90’s-inspired look for Holly Willoughby to present the Dancing On Ice semi-final yesterday.

She then posted the look on her Instagram account, with a breakdown of what she used to create the look, and listed a Perricone MD eye cream that she applied to prep the skin before make-up.

While the product is premium, on the brand’s website new customers can get 20 percent off, dropping the price from £64 to £51.20.

Buy: High Potency Growth Factor Firming and Lifting Eye serum (£64)

The eye cream contains skin-loving ingredients including Niacinamide which supports the skin’s moisture barrier and diminishes dullness by deeply hydrating.

Other key skincare ingredients include DMAE which plumps skin to fight sagging, and Polyamine Growth Factor which promotes youthful, collagen-rich skin with plenty of elasticity.

It also helps to even out skin tone, which can reduce the look of dark circles and provide instant smoothness and radiance in the mornings.

There are hundreds of reviews on the product, with many shoppers rating it five stars.

Joanna said: ”I have had a problem with fine lines under my eyes for years, actually I think it’s dehydration and I should really drink more water! But since I turned forty I decided to be more proactive with using creams etc. This is one product that I now buy in bulk because it’s excellent, it’s plumped up and firmed up the area under and around my eyes, now when I look in the mirror I feel I look more youthful when smiling. It definitely works to smooth out fine lines, soften and rehydrate. Would definitely recommend!”

Rhian commented: ”This eye serum is amazing it works on the deep lines under the eyes.I can see a difference straight away. It’s the best eye serum. I can’t live without this product I’d give it 6 stars if I could!!!”

Nika99 also added: ”I am really loving this eye serum. Growth factors are essential for anti-aging and they are hard to find in over-the-counter products. This serum is pricey but the ingredients make it worth the splurge.”

Although the feedback is mostly positive, the main complaint for the eye cream in the reviews is the high price point, and there are much more affordable options with similar ingredients, like the Me+ Niacinamide Eye Cream.
