Everyone's saying the same thing as Prince William returns to work after 'personal issue'

Prince William paid a visit to the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in London earlier today.

The visit marks the 41-year-old’s first engagement since his absence at the late King Constantine of Greece’s memorial service in Windsor on Tuesday.

The senior royal – who was set to give a reading at the service – made the decision to pull out of his appearance at the last minute and cited “personal reasons” as the reason for his no-show. Aides clarified that Princess Kate is “doing well” at home.

After learning that William has returned to work on Thursday, fans couldn’t help but express their happiness to see the royal out-and-about. Taking to Instagram, fans commented how good it was to see William back on some new pictures shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official account.

Commenting on the new post, one fan wrote: “Wonderful to see you [red-heart emoji].”

Another fan wrote: “Soo happy to see you again Prince of Wales [red-heart emoji].”

Praising the royal for highlighting such an issue, another fan wrote: “Good to see and to know that the future of the Biritish kingdom is in good hands. I’m proud to choose this country to live and raise my family. Well done Your Highness.”

A fourth fan simply wrote: “Prince of people’s hearts.”

The Prince of Wales has taken some time off since the start of the year, although has stepped out on various occasions.

William’s main focus has been on his family – especially since the Princess of Wales has been recovering from planned abdominal surgery last month.

During his visit today, William issued an important new message on behalf of himself and his wife.

He said: “Anti-Semitism has no place in society. Prejudice has no place in society. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I want you all to know you can talk about it and your experiences.

“Both Catherine and I are extremely concerned about the rise in anti-Semitism that you guys have talked about this morning and I’m just so sorry if any of you have had to experience that.

That’s why I’m here today to reassure you all that people do care and people do listen and we can’t let that go.”

During William’s visit to the Western Marble Arch Synagogue, the royal was able to meet a group of young ambassadors from all backgrounds who have taken part in the Holocaust Educational Trust’s flagship ‘Lessons from Auschwitz’ programme.

The aim of the programme is to teach young people about the horrors of the Holocaust.
