Everyone is saying the same thing about Joe Biden after his latest embarrassing gaffe

As he addressed the US response to the Israel-Hamas war, Biden had told reporters: “As you know, initially, the president of Mexico, Sissi, did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him.

“I convinced him to open the gate.”

Another person commenting on a clip of the slip quipped, “Well, at least el-Sisi is alive…there’s that,” after previous flubs in which Biden mistakenly referred to interactions he had had with major figures who have been dead for years.

Earlier this week, Biden appeared to mix up France’s President Emmanuel Macron with one of his predecessors – despite him having passed away in 1996.

The blunder came as he addressed supporters in Las Vegas ahead of Tuesday’s primaries.

Days later, Biden recalled a conversation with Chancellor of Germany Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017.

Joe Biden blunders again as he recalls talk with dead German chancellor [REPORT]

Biden was in New York to attend two fundraisers for his 2024 presidential campaign, opening up on conversations he had with European leaders in the aftermath of the January 6, 2021 Capitol Riots.

He recalled attending the G7 summit in Great Britain in the summer of 2021 and discussing the incident with Kohl.

Kohl, who served as Chancellor of Germany between 1982 and 1998, died of natural causes in 2017 – five years and two days before the riot.

Biden had called Thursday’s press conference to address Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report, in which Hur offers a harsh assessment of Biden’s memory and recall abilities.

The report found evidence Biden “willfully” retained highly classified materials when he was a private citizen, but said that, nonetheless, no criminal charges are warranted for him or anyone else.

It said the President’s memory faced “significant limitations” which left him “struggling to remember events” including what years he was Vice President or when his son Beau died. The President’s late son died of brain cancer in 2015.

The report read: “In his interview with our office, Mr Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’)

Biden sharply pushed back against Hur’s conclusions, which stated that the president is a “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

In response, the president hit back: “My memory’s fine. Take a look at what I’ve done since I became president…how did that happen? I guess I just forgot what was going on.”

Biden reacted angrily to comments about his memory of his son’s death, saying: “There is even reference that I don’t remember when my son died. How in the hell dare he raise that?

“Frankly when I was asked the question I thought to myself ‘wasn’t any of their damn business.’

“Let me tell you something…since the day he died – every single day – I wear the rosary [bracelet] he got. Every Memorial Day we hold a service remembering him attended by friends and family and people who loved him.

“I don’t need anyone to remind me of when he passed away.”

Reacting to the report, White House lawyer Richard Sauber said: “We do not believe that the report’s treatment of President Biden’s memory is accurate or appropriate,”

“The report uses highly prejudicial language to describe a commonplace occurrence among witnesses: a lack of recall of years-old events.”

The report was released after an investigation lasting over a year and related to files found at Biden’s home and former private office from 2022-23.
