Epstein list released: Clinton and Prince Andrew among 187 names released in bombshell doc

Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton have been named in a shocking list linked to billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein which was made public by New York judges on Tuesday night.

Judge Loretta A. Preska unsealed over 170 names in a New York court today, connected to the Jeffrey Epstein – Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking conspiracy.

The list includes victims of sexual abuse, witnesses from court cases, and former employees of Epstein.

The release comes after Judge Preska reviewed documents requested by the Miami Herald from a civil case filed by one of Epstein’s victims, which was eventually settled.

Judge Loretta Preska ordered hundreds of files to be unsealed, including a 30-page summary of evidence from 2015 that is expected to reveal Maxwell’s email account.

Many records related to this lawsuit have been released publicly over the years, but on Monday, the judge decided what could be revealed about certain individuals mentioned in the records.

She noted that in many cases, these individuals had already given media interviews or their names had been made public in various ways, including at Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial two years ago.

Preska decided that some parts of the records should stay private, including those naming people who were children when Epstein sexually abused them and had tried to keep their privacy. The Epstein case has led to many conspiracy theories about the possible involvement of rich and powerful people in sex trafficking.

The three criminal cases brought by federal and state authorities have focused on allegations of sexual abuse by Epstein himself and Maxwell.

Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004. Epstein took his own life in 2019 while awaiting trial on related sex-abuse charges.

The documents come from a 2015 civil lawsuit centred on allegations that Epstein’s friend Maxwell, facilitated the sexual abuse of Virginia Giuffre, an alleged trafficking victim. She accused Epstein and Maxwell of directing her to have sex with Andrew and several other high-profile men.

Prince Andrew has denied the allegations and claimed he could not recall meeting the alleged victim.

However, He later settled a lawsuit she filed against him in February 2022 on grounds of battery and infliction of emotional distress for a reported £10 million ($12.6 million) with no admission of liability.

Epstein ended his own life in August 2019 in a Manhattan federal prison while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. He was accused of tricking numerous underage girls into coming to his homes under the pretence of giving him massages, and then sexually abusing them.

Maxwell, 61, is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty in December 2021 of assisting Epstein in recruiting and sexually abusing underage girls.
