GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes sparked speculation about his relationship with wife Ruth Langsford last week after telling fans he had “loads to think about”. However, despite some fears that the pair may be having trouble, it seems Eamonn, 64, has now put on a united front with Ruth, 64.
Today, Eamonn took to Instagram to share a picture of them both in view of his 796,000 followers. He re-posted a snap from Entertainment Press Photographer Brett Cove, who had shared a picture of the former This Morning duo on his story.
The caption read: “MEMORIES 10 May 2018. The best in the business… @ruthlangsford @eamonnholmes.” (sic)
It’s the first time Eamonn has shared a picture of himself with Loose Women host Ruth for some weeks, which previously caused concern amongst their fanbase. The couple had not been seen together for several months, causing people to speculate.
Speculation only grew with one of Eamonn’s more recent posts, which featured the Irish star posing thoughtfully with his head resting on his hands. He had captioned the black-and-white picture: “A lot to think about ….. one of those days.” (sic)
Days before that, fans also questioned Ruth’s whereabouts in Eamonn’s latest family picture.
On the Sunday before last, the broadcaster proudly shared a picture of his son Declan, daughter-in-law Jenny and their two daughters Emilia and Isabella from the latter’s christening earlier this week.
The post caused some followers to wonder if Ruth had joined him at the family event.
“Where is your wife Eamonn Holmes?” one asked.
However, many more fans suggested that Ruth may have attended the event, but could’ve simply been out of the picture alongside Eamonn.
Now, it seems Eamonn is putting any split rumours to bed with the new social media post.
Eamonn and Ruth have been married since 2010 and presented ITV’s This Morning together between 2006 and 2021.
