Eagle-eyed royal fans spot something is missing from Prince Louis's birthday picture

Eagle-eyed royal fans have expressed their joy at the Royal Family continuing with traditions and releasing an image for Prince Louis’s sixth birthday, but one fan has spotted a ‘missing’ detail in the picture – Louis’s teeth.

Around the age of six, children begin to start losing their teeth, and adult teeth begin to grow, and it appears Prince Louis has a tooth or two missing from his bottom row of teeth.

A royal fan has expressed how quickly Princess Kate and Prince William’s children appear to be growing up, @Judithin77 on social media platform X, wrote: “Thank you so much for sharing this delightful picture. I see the tooth fairy has been visiting – goodness time flies so fast.”

One user commented on the all-smiling Prince: “Happy Birthday blessings to this little ray of sunshine Prince Louis!”

Another enjoyed the “natural” pose of the six-year-old: “Happy Birthday to a charming young man who has captured our hearts with his various antics. Thank you to his parents for letting him be so ‘natural’. He is a credit to you.”

The adorable sixth birthday picture of Louis was taken by his mother Princess Kate and the picture has not been edited according to Kensington Palace.

It shows the youngster lying on a patterned beige and cream blanket with his arms resting on the blanket and wearing a smart chequered shirt and blue shorts.

The newly released image comes after speculation as to whether the royal couple would release an image to mark the Prince’s birthday, as they typically release pictures of their children the night before. The photograph of Louis, who is fourth in line to the throne, was taken in Windsor in the “last few days” said the Palace.

On the official X site of the Prince and Princess of Wales, the couple also wrote: “Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
