The Duchess of Edinburgh stunned royal fans as she attended a gala at The French Residence in London on Tuesday evening.
Duchess Sophie, 58, represented the Royal Family as she made an appearance at the Dispensaire François’ biennial gala dinner.
To mark the formal occasion, Sophie – who has been patron of the organisation since 2022 – opted to wear a beautiful metallic fit-and-flare midi dress by Alaïa.
To accessorise, Sophie chose a embellished black satin clutch bag from Valentino and Pomegranate London drop stone earrings.
Before Sophie, the late Queen Elizabeth II was Dispensaire’s patron.
For hair and make-up, Sophie gathered her blonde locks into a relaxed up-do and opted for a natural make-up look with a smokey eye.
Posting about the event on X, the French Embassy wrote: “We are delighted to welcome the Duchess of Edinburgh as the French Residence hosts the Dispensaire Français’ biennial gala tonight. This non-profit organization provides services for more than 2,000 French and other French-speaking beneficiaries each year.”
The royal fashion-focussed Instagram account @royalfashionpolice posted some photos of the royal on their page, all of which gathered lots of fan attention.
One fan wrote: “Love this dress. Very elegant and one that could be worn anywhere. Nice to see at least one member of the Royal Family out and about at work.”

Tuesday was a exceptionally busy day for Sophie, who earlier visited the Katherine Low Settlement in London.
The royal enjoyed a fun-filled day and was all smiles as she took part in a seated dance with others in attendance.
Sophie also tried her hand at using a sewing machine, appearing very focussed as she unleashed her crafting abilities.

Prior to her elegant evening engagement, Sophie wore an effortlessly chic attire during the day.
The mother-of-two wore a white wool ensemble with a bright green jacket.
Dressed in a warm maxi-dress, Sophie also added a pop of colour with her emerald-coloured belt.
To complete the look, Sophie carried a brown clutch and wore simple suede boots.
