Drunk Elephant's new face cream is anti-ageing and 'makes skin look plumper and hydrated'

Using the right skincare can really help the skin look and feel healthy.

Drunk Elephant’s skincare has grown in popularity over the last few years, with many beauty fans adding the products to their skincare routines.

Following the success of bestsellers like the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Drops and the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum, the brand has added yet another glow-getting product to the line.

The Bora Barrier Repair cream is described as ‘perfect for dry or mature skin’ and gives an instant hydrating effect.

Buy: Bora Barrier Repair cream (£62)

The cream is rich in skin-loving ingredients and helps treat dry skin that lacks hydration and radiance from the winter months.

In terms of anti-ageing, there are several benefits to expect from the product, as it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while also firming the skin and increasing elasticity.

It can be used daytime or nighttime and builds up the skin barrier to protect against breakouts, blemishes and rosacea.

Shoppers are leaving their feedback on the moisturiser, with some calling it ‘very luxurious’.

Delighted said: ”It is a very luxurious cream to administer and really adds a protective layer to your skin and feels amazing. It is rich without being heavy. and makes your skin look plumper and hydrated. It is so easy to dispense with the facility to tap the lid, no need to unscrew, or to turn a lip. The packaging is attractive and easy to keep clean. You can also use the product as a face mask overnight and you feel as if you have had a facial. I love the texture and the fact it is a perfect consistency. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cream to people of all ages.”

DebW commented: ”I use it morning and night. My skin looks and feels amazing. I mix it with the rose and bronze drops and add a little eye makeup and lipstick and I am good to go.”

Lulabelle also added: ”I was given this new full-size Drunk Elephant cream. I’ve used it at night over rosehip oil and alone. I would say it is very rich but I don’t think I would buy it. I can’t wear it during the day doesn’t work with make-up on me. It’s the same good quality as other Drunk Elephant products but just not for me.”

Although most of the reviews are positive, some do mention that they found the cream didn’t work as well under makeup, in which case it may be worth trying a lighter moisturiser, like The Ordinary’s Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan.
