A video of Donald Trump that appeared to show him limping while on a golf course has caused a social media frenzy. The video, that quickly went viral, appears to show the US President struggling while getting out of a golf cart and seemingly dragging his right leg.
Social media was rife with speculation over the US President’s health, leading the White House communication directors to step in to shoot down the rumours. According to the Daily Mail, Steven Cheung said: “Deranged and morally bankrupt liberals — including corrupt media — have now resorted to complete falsehoods and fabricated lies because they have no shame. Instead, they spend every waking hour of their pathetic lives suffering from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted their brain.”
The video was reportedly taken at a golf course in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday afternoon – two days after the US President’s explosive row with Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House.
One user on X suggested Mr Trump was moving his right leg “like a piece of wood”, while another said the President’s legs were “looking far from stable”.
Another user suggested the 78-year-old, who is a keen golfer, had “wobbly legs”.
Experts have told the Daily Mail the movement seen in the video could be the result of a range of conditions, although it is impossible to diagnose Mr Trump without a thorough examination and access to medical records.
