On Saturday, Biden took a swipe at Trump, branding him “mentally unfit” and “too old” to be US president.
During a speech at the Gridiron Dinner in Washington, he said: “One candidate is too old and mentally unfit to be president. The other is me.”
The 81-year-old Democrat gave examples of mistakes Trump has made in public in recent months, including one incident where he failed to recognize a photo of his wife Melania.
The President then accused Republican Trump of “destroying the economy” in 2020 and “embarrassing” the US on the world stage.
