DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro told The Post Thursday that $700 million seized from sophisticated cryptocurrency scammers will be returned to American victims.

“Unfortunately, it takes a while to be able to identify the individuals that this money belongs to,” Pirro said.

“It is a long and rigorous process to get that money into the hands of those victims that they belong to,” she added.
