A tatted-up repeat offender allegedly broke into his neighbor’s apartment and masturbated over her while she slept on Tuesday.
Laramie Briggs Jr., 44, snuck into his young neighbor’s apartment in Ashford, Connecticut and began to pleasure himself while she was taking a mid-day snooze on the couch, the Connecticut State Police alleged in a report.
The slumbering victim woke up to find Briggs looming over her, completely naked and mid-stroke.
She courageously forced him out of her home and called the cops, the report said.
When police arrived, she easily identified the suspect as a neighbor who lived on the second floor.
Officers attempted to speak with Briggs through the locked door to his apartment, but he refused. State troopers eventually forced an entry and arrested him without incident, according to the report.
Briggs’ eyes appeared glossy and barely open as he tried to smile for his mugshot.
He was charged with second-degree burglary, interfering with an officer, and disorderly conduct. He is being held on a hefty $150,000 bond.
The perv carries an extensive rap sheet — including at least two prior jail sentences in Virginia, according to records seen by The Post.
In 2002, Briggs was found guilty on a laundry list of charges for disorderly conduct, theft, robbery, and attempted grand larceny in Newport News, Virginia.
He was also charged with at least four traffic misdemeanors in the Old Dominion State before jumping ship for Connecticut.
Briggs didn’t maintain a squeaky-clean record in the Constitution State, either. He was arrested on a drug charge in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 2005, but it’s not immediately clear if he ever faced a judge.
Then, in 2023, he allegedly masturbated while a nurse was assessing him at a medical center in Hartford.
The shellshocked nurse told police that she purposefully faced away from Briggs when she spotted him stroking himself out of her peripheral, but he eventually started “masturbating in full view,” the Hartford Courant reported.
“She felt like Briggs was testing her, seeing how far he could push it before she reacted,” investigators wrote in an arrest affidavit obtained by the outlet.
