Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper shares 'downside' to homelife in honest admission


Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper was promoted by Jeremy Clarkson in the new instalment of the Amazon Prime series. He was made farm manager, with Jeremy allocating him his own part of the farm to run.

Kaleb has been very vocal about his passion for village life and he has been working on farms since he was just 13 years old. He opened up about his homelife and farming career in his book, The World According to Kaleb. 

The international celebrity admitted he hated the idea of city living and felt uncomfortable straying too far from the comforts of home.

However, he did say there was a “downside” to village life and being part of such a small, close-knit community. Sometimes knowing everything about everyone is not always a good thing.

He opened up about his home in his book, saying: “There is another downside to village life: the gossip. You should never worry about what anyone outside your own village thinks about you.”

“You should worry very much about what everyone in your own village thinks about you.

“I should know. I do it myself. If somebody does something stupid, I’ll be the first to tell everyone.

“But at least people care.” He also admitted snow was another downside of village life, adding: “When it snows, you’re stuck where you are.
