Clapham acid attack: Moment car slams into woman before children rushed to hospital


A terrifying video of an acid attack in an affluent part of London has been released after a woman and two children were injured in a horrific incident overnight.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of the “chemical incident” in Lessar Avenue, Clapham, shortly before 7.30pm on Wednesday night.

In the CCTV footage shared by Sky News, a man can be seen running around in front of a white car before sitting in the driver’s seat. Meanwhile a woman and child can be seen covering their faces at the front of the vehicle.

The man then appears to throw the victims to the ground after ramming the car towards them. Hero neighbours can then be seen running out onto the street to help the victims. A total of nine people were injured, including three Metropolitan Police officers.
