China detains alleged MI6 informant, accuses UK collaboration since 2015

China claims it has detained a person accused of collecting state secrets for MI6.

The Beijing ministry of state security said the UK has been working since 2015 with the citizen of a third nation, someone who has the surname Huang.

It said that person got training in intelligence gathering, was given equipment and had collected secrets while on visits to China.

Many companies have been investigated for gaining data that would ordinarily be public, particularly if it was shared with foreigners.
