A celebrity jeweler who once flashed his luxury lifestyle on the reality show “Below Deck Mediterranean” has been arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a driver who blocked in his Ferrari.
Leon “Leo” Glore, 35, was arrested weeks after the late-night March 11 incident at Paramount Miami Worldcenter and charged with aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a firearm.
Glore had pulled up in his white Ferrari behind a driver stuck at a malfunctioning parking garage gate — and started impatiently honking at him while “yelling obscenities,” according to an arrest report obtained by WPLG Local 10.
Glore then hopped out of his luxury sports car, pulled a handgun and ominously warned the other driver, “Give me a reason,” according to the arrest report.
Glore was questioned at the scene, then released, his attorney said. But he was arrested Friday — more than a month after the showdown — and released after posting $5,500 bond, records show.
He has pleaded not guilty and his attorney, Chad Piotrowski, insists the arrest doesn’t match the evidence that the jeweler to the stars had been threatened.
“Mr. Glore was initially investigated and released at the scene after officers reviewed the building’s security footage,” Piotrowski told WPLG Local 10. “Weeks later, he was arrested despite that same evidence.”
He added: “Based on the facts and the video, we will be asking the court to dismiss the charges pursuant to Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.”
The law allows the use of deadly force if someone believes it is necessary to protect themselves, and the defense appears set to argue Glore felt threatened during the dispute.
Glore, who appeared on season 5 of the Bravo series in 2020, is known for catering to celebrity clients, including Scott Disick, rapper 50 Cent and Meek Mill. He has promoted a high-end image tied to fast cars and flashy jewelry.
That image hasn’t slowed down since his arrest.
In the days after posting bond, Glore returned to social media, sharing photos of himself on Instagram behind the wheel of a Ferrari and in workout gear, projecting business as usual despite the charges hanging over him.
