Caleb Williams appears to be back for Chicago.

The Bears’ starting quarterback, sorely missed after he went down with a nasty-looking hamstring injury in Week 2, was listed as a full participant in Wednesday’s walkthrough practice, signaling he’s ready to return to the fold this week.

Williams won’t do much on Wednesday, but being a full participant this early in the week points to him starting on Sunday against a Falcons team that just collapsed in the fourth quarter and overtime against the Ravens.

“He will be full today,” Bears coach Ben Johnson told reporters.

When asked if Williams practicing in full throughout the week meant he’s playing, Johnson didn’t officially name Williams the starter.

The Falcons, on the other hand, did go all the way in naming Michael Penix Jr. their starter this week.

Penix was listed as a full participant after he went down with a rib injury that forced him to miss the end of last week’s devastating loss against Baltimore, as backup Tua Tagovailoa threw a game-sealing interception.

With both teams’ starting quarterbacks likely to play on Sunday, it’ll mark the first time both teams will be at full strength at the same time this season.

Atlanta started Cooper Rush for their first two games as Penix recovered from a torn ACL he suffered last season.

Williams has 407 yards passing through two games, with two touchdowns and one interception, while also running for 65 yards and two touchdowns in the first game. Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent filled in while he was out.
