The two telecoms giants have both launched mega money-saving discounts with hundreds of pounds slashed off of their usual monthly pricing. For example, Sky is currently offering its ultimate Gigafast plan for just £42 per month which is a saving of £16 off the usual price. This package will let you download a full HD movie in under 40 seconds and is over 10 times faster than the UK average. Other deals from Sky include its Ultrafast+ plan (500Mbps speeds) for £33 per month (saving £15) and its Ultrafast option (145Mbps) for £29 (usually £38).

These deals do require users to sign up for 2 months and there is a £29.99 upfront fee to pay.
