A British man has died in Turkey after falling from height, just a day after he was removed from a flight while on a family holiday. Ben Crook, 32, was reported missing after being removed from a flight shortly after landing in Antalya, Turkey with his partner and two children after a verbal altercation with a male flight attendant.
Having drunk alcohol and taken cocaine prior to the flight, Mr Crook is understood to have started behaving erratically by shouting at the member of staff and smashing both his and his partner’s phones, an inquest heard. When the plane landed in Turkey on 24 September, Mr Crook was removed from the flight and separated from his family who were told to make their way to their hotel. But an inquest at Gwent Coroner’s Court on Tuesday heard that Mr Crook never made it to the hotel following his release.
