'Brilliant' bathroom essential removes mould from tile grout in 'just a few seconds'

Cleaning bathroom tiles and grout can be a tough task, but Mrs Hinch fans have shared their go-to product to get the job done with minimal effort – and it can be found in your local supermarket.

Even if you keep your bathroom spotless, mould can still be a problem because bathrooms are prone to being damp and humid.

Mould can grow on the silicone sealants around your bath, taps and shower, making the whole room look dirty even if you clean it every day.

One person asked for advice on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page. They posted a picture of their bathroom tiles and asked how best to clean them and the discoloured grout.

They said: “Best way to clean these please? Bathroom tiles and grout”.

The person who posted was worried about their grey bathroom tiles and didn’t want to “ruin” them.

Lots of Mrs Hinch fans replied to the post with their favourite product for dealing with this problem. Most of them recommended Cillit Bang’s Mould and Mildew remover.

The Cillit Bang website claims the product “removes 100 percent of mould from most surfaces in just a few seconds” and it seems lots of people agree.

Facebook cleaning enthusiasts said the product is “fantastic”, “brilliant”, and they “wouldn’t use anything else”.

Someone commented: “Cillit Bang mould and mildew remover, just spray, leave and rinse. No effort is needed! I wouldn’t use anything else!”

The person who first asked about it on Facebook thanked everyone because the cleaner apparently worked wonders.

They wrote: “Thanks again for recommending. Did exactly as you said to do and it’s all sparkling clean now!”

Cleaning fans can grab a bottle of Cillit Bang Black Mould Remover spray in most local supermarkets. Cillit Bang Black Mould Remover Foam Spray costs £4.75 from Asda and £3.50 from Tesco.

There are other similar products out there that remove mould such as HG Mould Remover. This can be bought from Wickes for £5.50.
