A 14-year-old boy was shot in an apparently targeted attack as he sat in a parked car on the grounds of a Bronx housing complex Wednesday morning, cops and sources said.
The boy was inside the car at Seward and Rosedale avenues around 7:30 a.m. when the gunman approached him and let off a flurry of rounds, one hitting him in the left thigh, police said.
The teen – who looked to be the shooter’s target – was heading to school and was not alone in the car that was parked on the grounds of NYCHA’s Soundview Houses, according to law enforcement sources.
He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
The shooter fled on foot, heading north on Rosedale Avenue, authorities said.
The still-at-large suspect, seen in a photo released by the NYPD early Thursday, is described as having a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black sweater and black T-shirt.

The attack came a week after a 15-year-old boy was shot and left paralyzed from the waist down on board an A train approaching the 80th Street station in Ozone Park, cops said.
It also followed the April 16 fatal shooting of Jaden Pierre, 15, inside Roy Wilkins Park, where a group of teens also pummeled him, police said.
