Supermarkets are known for introducing products specially for the festive period and this year is no exception.

We have taken a look at the leading supermarkets including Tesco, Waitrose, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Lidl, Aldi and Morrisons and rounded up the top food products.

Some of the items are available to buy now and others are online and in-store later this month.

No.1 Lobster, Crab & Prawn Cocktails (170g)

The two prawn cocktails give the classic starter a luxurious twist by including brown and white crab meat along with cold water prawns.

No.1 Red Velvet Bauble Dessert (Serves 10)

A much cheaper version compared to other supermarkets for pretty much the same item. The dessert lives up to the name with gooey melt in the middle perfect for showing off.

Partytime Prawns in a Crispy Coating (132g)

Great for throwing into the oven for when guests arrive on Christmas Eve or Boxing Day. The prawns are deliciously crunchy and enough bite to want guests to keep coming back for more.

The festive buns are delightful and fun to add around the dinner table. These come in a pack of 6 in either snowman or reindeer-themed baos.

A little on the pricer side but it definitely makes up for it in terms of flavour.

According to customers, there is a strong taste of chestnut throughout the stuffing balls.
