BBC Match Of The Day star Emma Jones stuns fans with radical transformation

She’s the star of BBC’s Match of The Day and known to Leeds United fans as the familiar face of fan TV channel LUFC TV.

But Emma Jones has amassed an army of half a million followers just as interested in her stunning looks as they are her football punditry.

And now Emma has shocked fans with a radical transformation after making a decision to abandon make-up when not on TV.

It is the first time she has ever posted what she looks like without make-up and she described it as ‘liberating’.

Posting on her Instagram, Emma said: “Recently stopped wearing make-up during the day when I’m not filming and it’s so liberating.”

Emma Louise Jones, 33, started out as a freelance journalist for Channel 5 before moving to various radio shows, before being hired by the BBC for Match of the Day in 2021.

Recently Emma clashed with outspoken pundit Joey Barton, who had shared a clip of Emma with the caption: “A short film that encapsulates why women must not be allowed to infect our game further.”

The post drew plenty of criticism from Barton’s followers on X, formerly Twitter, with some even claiming that it had turned them against him despite supporting his views in the past.
