BBC Breakfast viewers 'freak out' over unexpected guests as Sally Nugent issues apology

BBC Breakfast host Sally Nugent and some viewers were left squirming over the show’s unexpected guests in the studio on Wednesday. Joining Sally and Jon Kay on the famous red sofa was Ethan and Annalise from the association of protecting exotic species along with three snakes and a bearded dragon.

During the chat, the pair explained that many exotic pets were being given up due to the cost of looking after them. As the chat unfolded, viewers flocked to the platform X to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Reptiles freak me out #BBCBreakfast,” while a second commented: “Jesus wept, i think I’ll stick to our persian cats #bbcbreakfast.”
