BBC Breakfast Naga Munchetty's three-word compliment as she swoons over famous guest

As another instalment of BBC Breakfast aired on Thursday morning, hosts Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were joined in the studio by actor Emmett J Scanlan and it looks like Naga was full of compliments today.

The Irish-native was on the show to discuss the second series of crime-drama show Kin which airs on BBC One, but talk soon turned to his appearance.

Charlie, 61, asked: “Was the character required to have a beard,” as Emmett responded: “No it wasn’t. When we shot season one, it was in the height of the pandemic.

“It was in lockdown, it was a whole new world so at that point nobody was working, my hair was growing, I had a beard, it was so long, I could put it in a ponytail.

“When this job came along and this opportunity came along, which meant I could go back to Ireland, I got to see my family for about four months which I’ve never been able to do normally and I just said: ‘Listen, any chances I can keep the man bun?’
