More than half of the 28 people injured in the Baltimore shooting early Sunday were under the age of 18, police reports indicate.

Two people, a man age 20 and a woman age 18, died after shooting began at a community block party around 12:35 a.m. in the 800 block of Gretna Court in the Brooklyn Homes section of South Baltimore. Police believe at least two shooters were involved but no other details are available.

The shooting took place over several streets in the area. A manhunt for the shooters continues.

Of the 28 injured, 17 were female and 11 were male. Fifteen of the injured were age 13 to 17, according to Baltimore police records. Those injured were identified as victims of gunshot wounds, the Baltimore Sun reported.
