Argos shoppers dash to grab rare iPhone 15 discount – 'great new price' confirmed

Argos has announced a surprisingly good and pretty rare deal on the latest iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. As most Apple fans will be well aware, getting a reduction on the US firm’s latest technology can be incredibly hard to find but that’s exactly what Argos shoppers are enjoying right now. As well as cuts to that all-new iPhone there are also lower prices on the rebooted Apple Watch Series 9 and popular iPad Air.

Let’s start with that iPhone reduction. Argos has announced a “great new price” on this device with the larger 256GB Plus model dropped from £999 to £949 – that’s a £50 saving. This big iPhone has an expansive 6.7-inch Retina screen, a speedy Apple A16 Bionic processor and the latest Dynamic Island notch that changes depending on what applications you are using. There’s also a dual-lens rear camera, Crash Detection, and Satellite texting and it gets a universal USB-C charging port rather than Apple’s older Lightning technology.

The new lower cost is clearly proving popular with Argos confirming that it’s “in demand” and “selling fast”.

The iPhone 15 Plus isn’t the only Apple smartphone with a price cut. Argos has also dropped costs on the iPhone 15 Pro with the 512GB model now £1,249 (saving £50) and the ultimate 1TB version now £1,449 (saving £50). If you have loads of files, films abd photos going for the 1TB model is always a good idea to save running out of space.

As a quick reminder, the iPhone 15 Pro now gets a Titanium design that is stronger and lighter than before. There’s also a mighty A17 Bionic processor inside plus you get improved cameras on the rear case. Another new addition on the Pro is the Action Button which lets you access certain functions just by tapping it.

The Argos deals don’t stop there. A quick trip to the retailer’s website also reveals cuts to the iPad Air and the store’s ‘lowest ever’ price on the Apple Watch.

Those cuts mean you can grab Apple’s slimline tablet for £628 (saving £70) and the Watch Series 9, which includes a new S9 processor and nifty Double Tap function for £349 (saving £50). As a quick reminder, the Series 9 gets that faster chip inside along with a brighter screen and improved fitness tracking.
