The series he’s referring to is the 2026 series Nocturne, featuring Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz, and Stephen Graham. Its IMDb description reads: “When a victim of serial killer Jurek Walter turns up alive, detective Jonah Lynn races to find the one person still missing, while his protégé Saga Bauer goes undercover for answers from the killer himself. Based on the bestselling novel by Lars Kepler.”
Explaining his recommendation, EccyReviews, who watches and rates films and TV shows on his social media platforms, said: “It is going to be the biggest show of the year, and everyone’s going to be talking about it. The show that I’m talking about is called Nocturne. Now, this is the serial killer drama starring Stephen Graham, and it’s available on Apple TV.
“I’ve seen the first two episodes, and I am absolutely gripped as this follows these children who go missing. And after one of them shows up, after being kept years in captivity in the dark, the investigation reopens. Cops come out of retirement to investigate what is going on, and people are dead set that it is Stephen Graham, even though he is kept very tight in this prison.
“Now, there is so many storylines going on, there is so many secrets, and I know it’s going to be absolutely full of twists and turns at every single corner. I have absolutely loved it so far, and that’s why you have to go and check it out immediately.”
Responding to his suggestion, one viewer stated: “The first 40 minutes of episode one had me locked in and had my heart racing. I actually had to turn it off at night and finish watching it in the morning because I was terrified. It’s incredible. Stephen Graham is going to win an Emmy for his performance.”
Another viewer added: “Stephen Graham is in it, has to be good, the most underrated UK actor.” A third said: “For sure the best show this year.”
Nocturne is available to watch on Apple TV and Amazon.
