Amazon Spring Sale can’t beat Ninja’s new air fryers

Amazon’s Spring Deal Days sale has attracted a lot of attention this week, with countless shoppers scouring the site for bargains. However, it’s easy to overlook better deals that might be out elsewhere. In an attempt to lure customers away from Amazon, popular kitchen brand Ninja has launched its own competing sale, coinciding with the release of a range of new and more affordable air fryers. Ninja is now offering two of its flagship models in a white colourway – and they’re priced lower than Amazon’s offerings.

One of the standout deals is the white Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer, which has been reduced from £249.99 to £169.99, saving customers £80. This is significantly cheaper than Amazon’s prices for the standard black and copper and black models, which are priced at £223 and £179.99, respectively. Each model boasts a 9.5L capacity, which Ninja says can serve eight people.

The two individual drawers can cook two different foods at different settings, with the Sync function ensuring they’re ready to eat at the same time – similar to Lakeland’s own version of a dual-draw air fryer, which is currently on sale for £99, reports MyLondon. The Ninja Foodi Max air fryer has achieved a near-perfect, 4.9-star rating and more than 7,000 five-star reviews, with one customer saying: “I am beyond impressed. The build quality is excellent, and it feels sturdy and durable. The sleek design fits perfectly in my kitchen and it’s incredibly easy to use.”

Another delighted customer said: “This is a game changer. The Ninja Foodi can cook almost anything and it’s quick. I underestimated how versatile it was going to be. There’s nothing we’ve put in it that doesn’t cook better than expected.”

Even among glowing reviews, a point of contention lies with its size, as one five-star review notes: “The downside is the size of the compartments, but only if you want to cook a massive chicken, just buy two smaller ones.”

For those on the hunt for a large air fryer without sacrificing counter space, the white Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer is now discounted to £219.99 from its original price of £269.99 – pocketing consumers a tidy £50 saving. This slimmer model offers the same impressive capacity and cooking prowess as the Foodi Max but benefits from a 30% reduction in width due to its vertically stacked drawers.

Designed to snugly fit beneath overhead cabinets, this compact air fryer can prepare food across four tiers using the accompanying racks. While the white variant is £10 less than Amazon’s £229.99 copper and black version, it stands at a slightly higher £3.74 more than the £216.25 grey model.

The Double Stack XL has earned a 4.3-star rating from Ninja customers and more than 750 four and five-star reviews. One user said: “Amazing results every time.

“I have been reluctant to buy an air fryer [but] I think it is one of the best purchases I have made in the last few years. Very simple to use and consistently great results. The double stack takes a minimal amount of room and with a small amount of planning you can prepare a full meal in it.”

Another reviewer praised the air fryer, saying: “Fantastic space-saving option that does everything you would want with an air fryer and food comes out well each time. We are pleased with the additional capacity and ability to cook two different things at once.”

However, the same reviewer noted a minor flaw: “Our only small gripe is that food falls down into the cracks around the edges of the crisper plates and gets trapped on the bottom. A minor design flaw that doesn’t significantly impede functionality overall.”
