Air fryer garlic bread comes out 'golden' in just four minutes with minimal ingredients

Garlic bread can be made using almost any kind of base, though the most popular kinds are fluffy baguettes.

But for a lighter and quicker alternative, one TikTok content creator claimed that wraps produce the best results.

Sharing her easy recipe on the social media platform, air fryer-lover Emma Hendry (@emmahendry3) demonstrated exactly how straightforward it is to make garlic bread at home.

She branded it “the best air fryer garlic bread” and many people on TikTok agreed, with the video having garnered 219,800 likes.

All you need is two mini wraps, butter, garlic granules, basil, and mozzarella cheese.

Emma started to assemble the wraps by first spreading a thick layer of butter onto each one. This is as much for flavour as well as the texture of the bread, so the more buttery, the better.

The TikTok content creator then sprinkled a generous helping of dried garlic granules onto the buttery base to ensure they stick to the flat dough.

While fresh garlic may seem preferable for added flavour, it won’t have long enough to cook using this four-minute air fryer recipe.

The next step was to scatter the dried basil all over the wrap until completely covered before topping it with the grated mozzarella.

As this recipe is so versatile, any kind of cheese can be used to top the wraps, as long as it’s finely grated for quick melting.

On the second wrap, Emma repeated the process before gently stacking the two garnished wraps on top of one another, with the top one cheese-side up.

Cooking the garlic bread couldn’t be more simple, just place it in the air fryer for just four minutes at 190-200C.

The results should resemble a pizza-bread-style base with a bubbling, cheesy topping.

Showing off the delicious-looking garlic bread after cooking it, the TikTok chef noted that the recipe is “so easy, simple and tasty”.

Fellow members on the popular social media app shared their thoughts on the recipe with one person commenting: “That looks amazing and I don’t even like cheese.” Another said: “Really good, just tried.”
