After a shockingly successful 2025 campaign — a 14-3 record, an AFC Championship and a tough loss in the Super Bowl — Drake Maye and Co. will run it back in 2026 and attempt to reach the high highs they achieved last year.
In order to get there, they’ll have to get through a number of formidable opponents, considering they have the sixth-hardest strength of schedule of all 32 NFL teams, according to Yahoo! Sports.

To prepare for these high-stakes contests, General Manager Eliot Wolf has been putting in work this offseason.
Over the past few months, the former director of scouting has inked deals with standout guard Alijah Vera-Tucker, high-energy edge linebacker Dre’Mont Jones, potential backup tight end Julian Hill and, most excitingly, splashy wide receiver Romeo Doubs.
“Doubs gives the Patriots a strong receiver who can replace Stefon Diggs and run all kinds of routes: intermediate, over the middle, outs and even the occasional deep pattern,” ESPN’s Aaron Schatz said.
“He might end up as the Patriots’ top option if they can’t work out an A.J. Brown trade, so don’t be surprised if he tops 1,000 yards for the first time.”
