Russia sends horror WW3 threat to UK – ‘We will kill all British people’ | World | News

A Russian propagandist has taken to state TV to issue a direct threat of nuclear war against Sir Keir Starmer’s coalition of the willing. Vladimir Solovyov, regarded as a mouthpiece of Vladimir Putin and a regular commentator on Russia’s war in Ukraine, issued the chilling threat in response to Western media claims and the work of European countries to support Ukraine.

On the Russian state TV show ‘Sunday Evening With Vladimir Solovyov’, Putin’s puppet said it was clear that the UK and United States “are directly waging war against us.” He said: “You don’t understand the main thing. We see right through your coalition of peacemakers, who are not peacemakers but basically interventionists, will be destroyed. You have to realise that not only the frontline units you’re planning to deploy on the territory of Ukraine will be destroyed, but since we can’t perceive it in any other way other than the direct participation of your countries, you will feel the consequences, the likes of which you have never seen.”

He added chillingly: “All of your howling will not help you.”

Solovyov also warned Britain, France, and Germany, as well as the Baltic states – “your fate will be sad.”

Another commentator, Margarita Simonyan, said a recent article in the Times proves that “the West is backing down.”

Putting her spin on the article, she added: “The article basically says, ‘Should we keep going? If we go on that means we have to send our troops. Is the British public ready for this? Because our people may perish.’

“It’s not that they may perish. They will certainly perish. We will kill them all.”

The clip was translated by the Russian Media Monitor.

Despite Donald Trump’s claims that he would end the war in Ukraine on day one of his presidency, the conflict shows little sign of abating as the President approaches his 100th day in the White House.

Last month both sides agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea but there has been no let up in fighting on the frontline.

Russia has continued to bombard Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure, and on Sunday, Russian forces launched a missile strike on the city of Sumy, which killed 35 people and injured 117 others.

The US President told reporters that the “terrible” incident happened after Russian forces “made a mistake” without elaborating further.

A spokesperson for UN Secretary-General António Guterres said he was “deeply alarmed and shocked” to hear of the attack.

He said: “Attacks against civilians and civilian objects are prohibited under international humanitarian law, and that any such attacks, wherever they occur, must end immediately.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has used the attack to demonstrate Russia’s reluctance to agree to peace, despite what it might say publicly.

Russia claims that it was targeting a meeting of Ukrainian soldiers in the city but has provided no evidence to substantiate the claim.

However on Tuesday, Zelensky sacked Sumy’s regional chief for allegedly holding a medal presentation ceremony, according to local media.
