Fans of a UK supermarket’s body sprays are thrilled to see their return – two years after launch.

Aldi is reintroducing its popular collection of body mists, which are an affordable alternative to Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa perfume mists.

The supermarket’s health and beauty brand, Lacura, will delight fans with its Tropical Essence Body Mists (£2.99 – 250ml) all summer.

The supermarket saw a whopping 38 body mists fly off shelves every minute on their first day of launch in 2023, with the full range almost selling out in just three days.

Brought back due to shopper demand, the mists will be available in the original scents of Twenty Eight, Thirty Two and Sixty Four.

The notes of Twenty Eight include jasmine, hibiscus, and ozone, Thirty Two includes pistachio, almond, and salted caramel, and Sixty Four features orchid flower, jasmine, and plum.

Fans on Aldi Shoppers UK describe the products as smelling “amazing” and “divine” while others have exclaimed that they “need them all!”

Many shoppers were delighted to see the sprays were available once again – it was even flagged in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group.

Kat King, who shared the news, wrote: “SOL DE JANEIRO [alternatives] in Aldi!” She also informed shoppers about the Tropical Essence Conditioner, which is also available on Aldi’s shelves.

In the meantime, Aldi customers vouched for how much they love the affordable range. One said: “They all smell unreal, need to stock up again!”

Another added: “The 64 in Aldi literally smells the exact same as Sol De Janeiro 40 – whether it lasts as long is a different matter but it’s a fraction of the price so worth a shot if you can’t afford the real thing.”

A third wrote: “They are amazing and the smell lasts ages! I’ve got two bottles today.” Someone else said: “Absolutely love the leave-in conditioner. It makes my curls form beautifully.”

The supermarket released a wider Tropical Essence range last summer. It included a shampoo, shower gel, hair mask and booty balm. Shoppers hope that these early releases mean more of the range is returning.
