Add Tracy McGrady to the list of former NBA stars returning to college.

On Wednesday, the Hall of Famer agreed to join Wagner College as a strategic advisor for the men’s basketball program. McGrady will lead Wagner’s basketball operations, recruiting and name, image and likeness efforts alongside head coach Dwan McMillan.

The opportunity popped up as McGrady was helping his son Laymen go through the recruiting process as a transfer from Oral Roberts. They liked the idea of joining Wagner, and the school expressed an interest in Tracy as well.

“It’s something that I’m looking forward to,” McGrady, who will now be in the area frequently due to his television obligations with NBC and Peacock, told The Post. “I never went to college, so I want to experience this.”

McGrady, who played part of the 2009-10 season for the Knicks, went straight from high school to the NBA as the No. 9 pick of the Raptors in the 1997 NBA Draft.

The 46-year-old is eager to see how he can help Wagner.

“For me, it’s just another challenge I accept,” he said. “I love challenges. It keeps me young and keeps me fresh and sharp.

“I have an AAU program. So I know how all this stuff works. It’s about getting in and helping these kids develop, getting the right players in there, and let’s try to get back to the NCAA Tournament.”
