Lindsay Lohan is the parent now!
The actress, 37, and her husband Bader Shammas welcomed a “beautiful, healthy son” named Luai, a representative for Lohan confirmed to The Associated Press on Monday. The newborn’s exact birth date was not released.
“The family is over the moon in love,” Lohan’s rep said.
USA TODAY has reached out to Lohan’s representatives for comment.
Luai is an Arabic name that means “shield” or “protector.”
Lohan revealed she and Shammas were expecting in March, posting a photo of a onesie on Instagram with “coming soon” across the chest. “We are blessed and excited!” she captioned the post along with baby emojis.
The “Parent Trap” actress shared snapshots of her pregnancy with fans, including photos from her April baby shower with family and close friends.
“So grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life,” the actress wrote.
Lohan also posted a May photo where she lounged poolside in a black swimsuit that showed off her growing baby bump.
Lohan’s journey to motherhood has been paved with congratulations and advice from several celebrities including Paris Hilton, who announced the birth of her first child with husband Carter Reum in January.
“I’m so excited for her,” Hilton, 42, said in an interview with Access Hollywood in March. “It’s just exciting to see all of my friends growing up and starting families on their own. My advice is just to soak in every moment, because it’s just so precious.”
This is Lohan and Shammas’ first child together.
The couple’s latest adventure as parents arrives a year after she announced her marriage to the financier in July 2022. They got engaged in November 2021.
“I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” Lohan wrote in a tribute to her husband last July. “I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.”
