Food shoppers can now pick up a delicious Christmas feast with all the trimmings for just £1.83 per head, or £11 for a family of six if they shop at one particular supermarket.

The move comes amidst the festive food price drops, with Lidl slashing its veg prices again to just 9p, making the supermarket’s Christmas offering the cheapest on the market.

Even better, customers do not need to rely on loyalty schemes to get these prices.

Prices of gravy, stuffing, and Yorkshire puddings plummeted yesterday (December 17), with fresh turkey and vegetables following on December 19.

For just 9p, shoppers can secure staples such as British Parsnips (500g), British Carrots (1kg), British Brussel Sprouts (500g), Echalion Shallots (300g), British Swede (each) and British White Potatoes (2kg).

Meanwhile, prices of gravy, stuffing, and Yorkshire puddings are available at 99p and 40p respectively.

This will give customers a chance to get hold of these products at low prices just in time for Christmas Day.

Seeing as many shoppers will be buying their fresh food closer to the big day.

Lidl works on long-term agreements with producers and growers, ensuring that promotional prices do not affect the price paid to the farmer.

The supermarkets range of Christmas veg will be available to purchase from just 9p between December 19 to December 24, available while stocks last.

Aldi also recently announced that they would be dropping the prices of their vegetables to just 15p if you live locally to one.
