Go2Africa has conducted a study to find out what the top bucket list experiences are around the world by analysing Google searches related to the term “bucket list”.
There is so much to see and do around the world, therefore it is not uncommon for people to put together bucket lists where they pull together all the amazing things they want to experience throughout their lives.
Seeing as 2025 is just around the corner, new destinations and adventures are becoming more popular than ever.
The UK’s top bucket list experience is to see the northern lights, followed by the Eiffel Tower, and to visit South Africa.
Also known as the aurora borealis, the northern lights is a natural wonder and can be seen in multiple destinations including Norway, Greenland, Sweden, Iceland and Canada.
However, the top three experiences for Brits wasn’t the same for the rest of the world. Crowned as the top bucket list destination globally, the paradise island of Bali takes the top spot.
Bali has long been a place where people book for their holidays, honeymoons, and trips with loved ones thanks to its stunning natural surroundings.
The second most popular bucket list experience of all is a wildlife safari showing people’s desire to explore nature.
