December is typically a quiet month for blockbuster new releases, but not in 2024.
This December sees the launch of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Marvel Rivals and Path of Exile 2 in early access. That’s on top of the release of Fortnite OG Season 1.
Action RPG sequel Path of Exile 2 has a December 6 release date and a 7pm GMT release time for fans living in the UK. The game is available on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC via Steam.
Unfortunately, however, while Path of Exile 2 will eventually be free-to-play, the early access period will only be available to paying customers.
Various Path of Exile 2 early access bundles will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC via Steam.
The Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Pack is available for £23.99 on consoles and £23.93 on Steam.
In addition to early access, the Supporter Pack also comes with 300 Points, which can be used to purchase in-game cosmetics.
Fans can also purchase the Lord of Ogham Founder’s Pack for £44.99, or the King of the Faridun pack for £79.99.
The bundles come with additional Points, as well as Armour sets, Weapon Skins, Pets and more.
Console players can pre-load the game after purchasing an early access pack, while PC users can download the standalone client ahead of release. If you would rather play via Steam, you’ll have to wait until launch.

If you’re new to the series, Path of Exile 2 is a top-down action role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Wraeclast.
The game sees the Count of Ogham harness the power of Corruption to seize power and unleash a new threat.
Path of Exile 2 will feature 12 character classes when it launches in full, although only six of these character classes will be available in early access.
This includes the Warrior, Sorceress, Ranger, Mercenary, Monk and Witch. The character classes will also have various “Ascendancy specialisations”, which will further differentiate them from each other.
The game is also said to contain 240 Skill Gems and 200 Support Gems, each granting new offensive and passive abilities.
Early access players will also be able to experience half of the campaign, as well as a scaled back version of the endgame. Locations, meanwhile, include dark forests, barren plains and jungle ruins.
