Property experts Zoopla have calculated the most affordable places for families to live in the UK. Zoopla examined the most affordable towns and then calculated which areas were getting the most interest from property-searchers.
It also looked into an income-to-affordability ratio to help work out if one of these places could align with the budgets of those searching for a new home. Four out of 10 of the most popular towns are in Scotland, with four in Wales and two in the South East of England. Here are the top 10 most affordable spots for families throughout Britain.
Swanley is a town and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. It is only 16 miles southeast of central London. The population is around 17,826.
