GB News’ Ben Leo fumes at Angela Rayner in scathing attack over immigration | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Ben Leo from GB News has been left fuming over Angela Rayner’s recent comments about immigration. The presenter argued that if Labour government officials genuinely cared about the issue of migration, they would implement more substantial measures and said that they’re “not doing enough.” During a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday, the Deputy Prime Minister commented about multiple factors affecting British society, such as rapid de-industrialisation, technological shifts, declining institutional trust, and immigration concerns. She also highlighted that 17 of 18 areas experiencing last summer’s worst disorder were among Britain’s most deprived locations.

Reacting to her remarks, Leo expressed his frustration and argued that her ministerial statements fail to translate into meaningful policy changes.

Leo ranted, “When I hear about this rhetoric from Angela or anyone from the Government, I feel like I don’t really want to hear it. If you cared that much, I argue, you’d try to do something to fix the problem. I don’t want to hear slogans, fears, and prayers—action is the best form.”

The GB News presenter also argued that immigration at current levels is threatening traditional British values and creating particular dangers for women and girls.

He added: “If you have continued invasion of the southern border, mass migration, British culture being eroded at a fast pace, women and girls under threat, is it any wonder you’re going to have pockets of extremism popping up?”

Ben also drew parallels between immigration policies and domestic safety concerns. He suggested that arrivals from certain regions hold very different attitudes towards women.

He described the situation as “tens of thousands of people coming from a far-away land who view women differently from how we do in the West.”
