This weekend sees the Netflix release of Happy Gilmore 2, almost 30 years since the original golf comedy hit cinemas. Having shot to fame on Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s, Adam Sandler went on to become a comedy movie star. The 58-year-old has had a string of hits and misses over the years, but among the turkeys are some quality dramatic performances, even beyond his usual clowning. Film fans on IMDb have ranked Sandler’s live-action performances, with the original Happy Gilmore coming in at No. 5.
