If you’ve not signed up for Sky’s VIP programme now is a good time to get things sorted. The TV provider has just announced a major update to this popular service which is offering more incentives for customers including free films, top discounts and even tasty treats from Sainsbury’s supermarket .

“Sky is relaunching its hugely popular VIP loyalty programme, now bigger, better and packed with over 3 million rewards,” the company said.

So what’s new and what can you get?

Firstly, there’s that new partnership with Sainsbury’s. Sky VIP users are now able to grab things such as Taste the difference pizzas and ice lollies. It’s been confirmed that new treats drop every week from this week with almost 2 million goodies being dished out.

Next, it’s good news for movie lovers. Every week, Sky says it will hand out a free flick. Things will kick off with The Bad Guys which will be available for free on Sky Store from 14 July.

Other bonuses of Sky VIP include discounts on products from Puma, Hearst, JBL, and Purdy & Fig.

Sky VIP also offers access to experiences such as tickets to top UK attractions, exclusive cinema screenings, VIP lounge access, and once-in-a-lifetime trips.

Finally, there’s a free 12-month subscription to The Athletic for those who subscribe to Sky Sports.

Speaking about the changes, Helen Kloepfer, Director of Sky VIP said: “The new Sky VIP reward programme is our way of saying thank you to our customers by giving them more of what they love. Whether you’re new to Sky or a long-standing customer, there’s always something exciting waiting in the My Sky app that makes every day a little better.”

How do you get these perks?

Sky VIP is free for all customers. You have Sky TV you should find that you are automatically enrolled and just need to download the My Sky app to get started.
