£6.49 product has become 'a staple' for Amazon shoppers and 'gives skin a radiant glow'

Beauty fans have found a new destination for discovering favourite products, and the deals rival top beauty retailers.

Amazon has fast become one of the cheapest and easiest places to build a skincare routine.

The retail giant’s constant deals and discounts combined with quick and easy delivery for Prime members means thousands are flocking online rather than shopping in person when they run out of their everyday favourites.

Recently, shoppers have been raving about an affordable moisturiser, which has now been reduced from £14.99 to £6.49, saving more than half price.

Buy: L’Oreal Paris Hydra Genius Hyaluronic Acid (£6.49)

The skincare gem is designed to be used every day, and has an instantly refreshing gel formula, which is perfect for rehydrating skin after lacking moisture during the night.

Like a drink for your skin, the liquid consistency has more water than oil, meaning it’s lightweight on the skin and contains aloe vera to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin for up to 72 hours.

The ingredients are a double whammy for hydration, as they also include hyaluronic acid, which is known to plump up skin and help fight the signs of ageing.

The product has racked up over 11,000 reviews on Amazon, with some saying it ‘works wonders at soothing and calming’.

M. Szczypior said: ”I didn’t know how much my skin needed a gel product like this, I am getting used to my changing skin….I’m in perimenopause. This gel is lightweight and absorbs very quickly into the skin, with a light fragrance that is pleasant and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated – if I could leave more than 5 stars I would!”

Lovemangan commented: ”The formula of this moisturizer is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving no greasy residue. It provides intense hydration, plumping up my skin and giving it a radiant glow. The added hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract work wonders at soothing and calming any redness or irritation. Overall, this moisturizer has become a staple in my skincare routine, delivering visible results and making me feel confident in my complexion. I also admire the eye-catching bottle, which is so aesthetically pleasing. I love the sleek design and vibrant colours of the bottle, which instantly caught my attention, making it a beautiful addition to my vanity.”

Farayi Stephanie Moyo also added: ”Good product and very refreshing but it is highly fragranced which I hope won’t affect my skin in the long run.”

Some reviews mention they found the fragrance quite strong, which could be an issue for those with sensitive skin, in which case it may be better to go for a fragrance-free moisturiser like the No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream.
