Zara Tindall is a beloved member of the Royal Family, praised by many for her down-to-earth character, her impeccable style and her toned physique. Princess Anne’s daughter may mingle with the royals regularly, but she’s proven many times that she is just like the rest of us, especially when it comes to her meals.

The Olympic equestrian has previously revealed her diet and how she fuels her body as a mother of three while still training competitively. Ten years ago, in 2015, Zara spoke to the Sunday Times and revealed that her favourite breakfast includes a very common and incredibly healthy food.

The food in question is Greek yoghurt, a dairy product packed with protein and nutrients to fuel a person for the day.

Zara said: “For breakfast, I’ll eat something like Greek yoghurt with honey, a piece of fruit, or toast.”

According to a nutrition expert, Greek yoghurt has many benefits, especially for women, and should be a staple in one’s diet.

Hello! magazine’s Senior Faye James, also a registered nutritionist, said: “Greek yoghurt is a fantastic way to start the day.

“It’s packed with protein, which helps keep you fuller for longer and supports lean muscle mass, especially important for women as they age.

“It also contains probiotics, which are brilliant for gut health, and calcium for strong bones.”

The expert added: “It’s quick, versatile and pairs beautifully with fruit, honey, nuts or seeds, making it easy to personalise and balance. You’re getting protein, healthy fats and fibre in one simple bowl.

“For someone with a busy lifestyle like Zara, it’s a smart, fuss-free option that nourishes and satisfies.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Zara also revealed her favourite lunch,

She also spoke of how she doesn’t restrict herself but tries to eat in moderation.

The royal said: “Lunch is quick and simple, like soup and a sandwich or eggs and toast.

“I don’t diet, but I try to eat well and not to eat too many carbohydrates or sugary things.”
