While Zara Tindall is not a working royal and has no official royal title, the daughter of Princess Anne continues to make headlines for her fashion style, her happy marriage and her love of horse racing.
Just last Friday, the 43-year-old was spotted at Cheltenham for a day watching the races, accompanied by friends rather than husband Mike Tindall.
Although the royal was in good spirits on the day, wrapped up warm in a beautiful chocolate brown suede coat, she was once spotted in a heated exchange at the races 11 years ago.
According to Gloucestershire Live, the-mum-of-three was once seen in what appeared to be a row with a steward at the Cheltenham Festival in 2013.
Zara, who was 31 at the time, was seen having a serious conversation with the steward as they managed the crowds.
The royal was seen pointing her finger at the man as her husband Mike watched on.
After what seemed to be a quick dispute, Zara was then permitted through the crowds, and was seen just hours late laughing and conversing with Chanelle, wife of jockey Tony McCoy.
It remains unknown what words were exchanged between the steward and Zara, who regularly attends horse racing events at Cheltenham, which is a short drive from her home on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Estate.
While she often attends the races with her former rugby player husband Mike, the 43-year-old has also been known to attend events with friends instead, including Dolly Maude, who is also a lady-in-waiting to her mother The Princess Royal.
However, when attending Royal Ascot in the summer, Zara – who won an Olympic medal in 2012 as part of the Great Britain Eventing Team – is usually accompanied by her royal relatives.
This includes her mother, her uncle King Charles, Queen Camilla and her cousin Prince William.
At the annual event, Zara is often seen hugging her relatives as they watch the races enthusiastically from the royal box. It is just many of the horse racing events the royal attends each year.
