Many of us harboured childhood fantasies of owning a treehouse tucked away in the garden.
Now adults can turn that cherished dream into reality by visiting what’s been hailed as the ‘UK’s most magical treehouse’.
The luxurious and secluded adults-only UK retreat, named The Hudnalls Hideout, sits within the breathtaking Wye Valley in Gloucestershire, designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty.
This distinctive A-frame treehouse stands as reportedly the first of its kind anywhere in the UK.
The one-bedroom, one bathroom dwelling, crafted to accommodate two guests, features an outdoor copper bathtub, expansive elevated deck complete with outdoor seating and hammock (available during summer months), plus an al fresco dining space equipped with fire pit, barbecue and DeliVita wood-fired oven.
Footage of the remarkable treehouse was posted by The Hudnalls Hideout TikTok account, which commands an impressive following of 333,700.
Whilst showcasing the beautiful exterior, overlay text posed the question: “Is this the most magical treehouse in the UK?”.
Viewers were then treated to glimpses of the kingsize bed nestled inside the treehouse, alongside the copper bath and outdoor seating arrangements.
The spectacular vista was also revealed, which countless people would undoubtedly relish waking up to each morning.
The caption stated: “Tucked away in two acres of private forest, its seclusion at its finest, with your own bar, outdoor bath and sauna, just for the two of you. Take it further with private dining under the trees, or melt into a massage out on the deck.”
The post certainly struck a chord, amassing over 90,000 likes. One individual commented: “That looks a bit of me,” while another exclaimed: “That looks so beautiful.”
A third quipped: “I want to live here, I feel like life would be easier.”
Many also asked if pets were permitted, but unfortunately, they’re not, so those with furry companions may need to seek alternative accommodation.
In addition to the effusive comments on TikTok, TripAdvisor reviews online were equally positive, with the property currently holding a 5-star rating.
One person enthused: “Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing, magical place. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish with every little detail considered. This is a real treat and a chance to completely disconnect, highly recommended!”.
Another added: “A truly remarkable experience. The treehouse was superb and the location outstanding. I will return it’s the perfect getaway and a special place to celebrate.”
