Xbox Game Pass subscribers have been treated to more good news this month, as Microsoft announces the second wave of releases for September.
After previously adding games like Hollow Knight Silksong, Microsoft will keep things going with the release of titles like Hades, Modern Warfare 3 and Frostpunk 2.
Indeed, the releases continue on September 17, when Modern Warfare 3, For the King II, Overthrown and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor are added to Game Pass.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is my personal pick of the bunch, featuring similar gameplay to the ultra-addictive Vampire Survivors.
“Take on hordes of lethal aliens, mine riches, and unlock powerful upgrades to survive in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor!” reads the official description.
“Wield the full arsenal of weapons and tools from Deep Rock Galactic in this single player survivor-like auto-shooter. It’s one dwarf against all of Planet Hoxxes!”
Frostpunk 2 and Wobbly Life will be added on September 18, followed by Hades on September 19.
Hades is a highly-rated roguelike game with a fantastic cast of characters and tens of hours of action.
The game tasks players with escaping from an ever-changing underworld, picking up new upgrades along the way. Needless to say, each run is different from the last, giving players different abilities to choose from, not to mention alternative enemies and layouts.
PC users will be pleased to hear that Endless Dungeon 2 will join Game Pass as a day-one release on September 22.
The early access title tasks players with building an empire, wielding political influence and raising armies.
Action roguelike Sworn joins Game Pass on September 23, followed by the double-header of Peppa Pig: World Adventures and Visions of Mana on September 25.
This month’s releases come to an end on September 30, when Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light joins Game Pass.
Microsoft has also announced plans to bring Sopa – Tale of the Stolen Potato to Game Pass as a day-one release on October 7.
