The Amazon Spring Deal Days event features thousands of discounts, including a fantastic deal on Xbox Series X and Series S controllers.

If you’re in need of a new Xbox controller, or maybe a second pad for multiplayer games, then now is the perfect time to invest. Available from now until March 31, Xbox controllers have been heavily discounted as part of the latest Amazon shopping event.

Available while stocks last, the popular Astral Purple, Shock Blue and Deep Pink Xbox Series X|S controllers are reduced to just £41.99. That’s a saving of 30% on the original £59.99 asking price.

Unlike other exclusive sales on the shopping site, you don’t need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the discounts.

If you’re willing to spend a little more money, Amazon has also cut the price of the Electric Volt, Pulse Red and Velocity Green controllers.

The striking game pads are available for the reduced price of £44.99, which represents a saving of 25%.

Then there are the standard black and white controllers, which are down to £39.95 and £39.99, respectively. Please note that the prices are correct at the time of writing, and are all currently listed as in stock.

Needless to say, the Amazon Spring Deal Days event includes hundreds of discounts on everything from Sonos speakers to Le Creuset Mugs.

Microsoft’s game pads feature wireless connectivity and Bluetooth pairing for playing on other devices like smartphones and PC.

The stylish controllers come with textured grips on the triggers and bumpers, as well as a hybrid d-pad that’s perfect for 2D retro gaming.

You can fully customise the controller inputs and button mapping using the Xbox Accessories app, and there’s even a built-in headphone jack for your gaming headset.

It’s a hugely impressive controller that provides genuine benefits when used with certain genres of games, particularly first-person shooters like Call of Duty.

Having a second controller also means you can play local co-op and versus games like EA FC 25 and the newly released Split Fiction.
