Is it time to panic about the ongoing slumps from Dodgers stars Kyle Tucker and Mookie Betts?
That’s what California Post baseball writers Dylan Hernandez and Jack Harris are discussing on the latest episode of the Dodgers Post podcast, as Jack hits the road in Pittsburgh for the team’s upcoming series against the Pirates.
First, Dylan and Jack review this past weekend’s series against the Angels, including Roki Sasaki’s latest 100 mph fastball-fueled gem, Yoshinobu Yamamoto throwing near no-hit stuff, and some more struggles from the bullpen that contributed to Sunday’s series finale loss.
Then, they get to their main conversation about Tucker and Betts –– who are the two highest-paid hitters on the team (when accounting Shohei Ohtani’s record deferrals) but have been the two most concerning performers over the season’s first half.

Later, the pair dive into the comments to interact with viewers, discuss some marquee pitching matchups (including Paul Skenes and Shohei Ohtani) in this week’s series in Pittsburgh, and challenge each other as always with trivia and predictions.
Also, Dylan has a story about a time in Pittsburgh he almost saw Dodgers players … get arrested?
All that and more on the latest episode of the Dodgers Post podcast.
