Airports aren’t just places to queue for security and grab an overpriced sandwich, the best ones are now destinations in themselves. From rooftop gardens to luxury spas, some terminals around the world are offering far more than just a place to catch a flight.

The world’s top 10 airports for 2025 have now been named in the latest Skytrax World Airport Awards. The rankings are based on passenger surveys covering everything from terminal cleanliness and food options to staff friendliness and ease of navigation. More than 500 airports were assessed, with passengers rating their overall experience, right down to baggage delivery times and signage.
